More Green Roads to Follow

They run ahead, they run back.  Dogs always do that, don't they?  It's as though they're saying "wait till you see what's up here!"

You know Wally's been running a while when his tongue starts hanging out the side.

The photo below is one of my favorites of the day.  We've emerged from our lush, green path into another open field, and they know there's a pond up ahead.

Sure enough, here comes LuLu running back to tell us what an awesome time she's having.

Wally's been to the pond for a cooling dip and now he's so excited he has to run around in circles for a while.  He has only one foot on the ground in the photo below.

Time to cool off and have a little rest before we move onward with our adventure.

So much green!  So many pictures!

Again, please click on a pic for a more enjoyable experience.  We'll finish up this adventure tomorrow.  We take the dogs out all year 'round -- short walks, long walks, exploring and discovering -- but there's something about a beautiful spring day...

Shared with love from all of us.  Take care!

  2. I love those photos. What a beautiful countryside for fun and exploring. I thoroughly enjoyed my virtual walk with you. Thanks for taking me along :o). Wally's looking great, he's certainly bounced back after his surgery, and Lulu is such a pretty girl.

  3. Such a fun walk, Leslie, and glorious photos of all that lush green! Would you believe we don't have green here? We have brown from all the drought and fires. On the plus side - less mowing LOL - Loved your adventure with the fur children, and how they run back to urge you onward to see what lies ahead! Do you have snakes there? We'd need to be careful walking through such lushness here. Thank you for sharing your photography gifts with us, and glimpses into your lovely life! xo

  4. You made my day! I was in complete withdrawal from lack of photos! ha ha Looks like you guys had an amazing day! I'm kind of like Donna....I'd be looking for snakes! Any time the grass gets that long around this area you could get a nasty surprise. "Our" fur babies get more beautiful every time you post a photo! Thanks for sharing!!

  7. I've followed the adventures of Wally and Lulu for years now and enjoy each photo you share with us. I so envy the many open spaces where the kids are allowed to run, roam and explore without constraints abundant....unlike here on the island where open land is scarce and people and animals are forbidden. Paradise has it's price. Thank you for sharing your goldies. Marilyn and Keahi and Charly (goldies)

  8. And your adventure continues! What amazing trails you have to travel. We don't have anything like this in our town. We have to travel almost an hour away to have such beautiful trails with ponds etc. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful photos - your 'fur' babies make me smile.

  9. I bet they come back because they want you two to share in their experience too, and don't want to be too far away from you, it is so neat to see them so happy :)

How fun, I love when they turn around and say 'are you coming?'..lol...both are so photogenic, no wonder you get great calender's of them, I am sure you will use a few of these pictures for your 2018 calendar. One of my friends rescues Goldens (you even imagine a Golden needing rescuing, what is wrong with people)....she is working on getting new one now his name is Tucker, she is trying to get him to trust her first...poor baby...hug these beauties and keep the pictures coming!
